Wherever we live and wherever we come from is our individual heartland. Anything is possible and everything can happen. Pure imagination is in all of us—we only need to discover it, and sometimes story telling helps.
My biggest influences are J. R. R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings), Michael Ende (The Neverending Story), and Kentaro Miura (Berserk).
Creating character-driven stories with a mission to push through and overcome life’s challenges is my niche. I also love writing about ancient Ireland and its mythology.
I’m a plantser, which means I use a mix of outlining and writing by the seat of my pants (i.e. pantser). I also follow European storytelling instead of American storytelling. I like to give my characters flexibility, so it permits them to surprise me, especially when they write their story for me.
